White Seabass Derby

The White Seabass Derby is held during the month of June and is an opportunity for anglers and freedivers to compete for cash prizes while helping scientists at Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute collect valuable information on the White Seabass species. Open to private boaters, kayakers and free divers, the Derby offers cash and prizes for the heaviest White Seabass weighed.

The $30 registration fee is tax-deductible. All proceeds benefit SDOF's White Seabass Restoration Project.
