These giving organizations include: The CA Dept. of Fish and Game The CDFG oversees the project and administers funding for the Hatchery and other OREHP-sponsored research. Funds are acquired through the sales of marine enhancement stamps on all saltwater fishing licenses, commercial and recreational, purchased from Pt. Arguello ... south to San Diego. The CDFG also provides a fish pathologist to assist with managment of fish health and biologists who assist in the head recovery program. The United Anglers of Southern California Organizes, permits, coordinates, and operates the pen grow-out facilities essential to the economical expansion of the HSWRI experimental white seabass program.
