Home 2 Ocean

When away from the beaches, sometimes it is easy to forget that our urban areas are directly connected oceans via storm drains. Each year storm drains carry millions of pounds of pollutants from inland communities to our beaches. These pollutants threaten water quality, the safety of marine animals and can affect human health.

To help educate San Diegans about ways to take responsibility for actions at home, SDOF developed a special website called, "H2O: Home to Ocean pollution prevention campaign."

Visit H20 for tips on how you can prevent pollution, view online videos, download kids' activities and more!
